What to Expect in a Session
During Your Session
Sessions for teenagers typically last 45-60 minutes. Your teen will lie fully clothed on a comfortable treatment table while I use gentle, light touch on various parts of the body. The treatment is completely non-invasive and many teens find it deeply relaxing.
Feeling Comfortable
I understand that some teenagers may feel a bit uncertain about their first session. I always take time to explain what will happen, answer any questions, and ensure they feel comfortable throughout. Parents are welcome to be present for the initial consultation.
Pricing
The initial session includes time for consultation with both parent and teen.
What Parents Say
As a teenager dealing with stress from school and sports injuries, Helen's treatment has been brilliant. The gentle approach means I actually look forward to sessions, and I feel so much better afterward.

Frequently Asked Questions
Do I need to stay with my teenager during the session?
For the first session, parents are welcome to be present for the consultation. During the treatment itself, it's up to your teenager's preference. Some prefer privacy, while others feel more comfortable with a parent nearby. We can discuss what works best for your family.
Will my teenager need to undress?
No. Your teenager remains fully clothed throughout the session. They should wear comfortable, loose-fitting clothing.
How many sessions will be needed?
This varies depending on what we're addressing. Some teens feel relief after 2-3 sessions, while others benefit from ongoing support, particularly during stressful periods like exams. We'll discuss this during the initial consultation.
Is it suitable for athletes?
Yes, many teenage athletes find craniosacral therapy helpful for recovery from sports injuries, reducing muscle tension, and supporting overall performance and wellbeing.
Can craniosacral therapy help with anxiety?
Many teenagers report feeling calmer and more grounded after sessions. Craniosacral therapy works with the nervous system to promote relaxation and can be a valuable complement to other support for anxiety.
