Frequently Asked Questions

How soon after birth can I bring my baby?

You can bring your baby as soon as you feel ready to leave the house. Some parents come within the first few days, while others wait a few weeks. There's no 'right' time—whenever you feel your baby needs support is the right time.

Is it safe for newborns?

Yes, craniosacral therapy is extremely gentle and safe for newborns. The touch I use is incredibly light and babies often find it soothing and calming.

Can I feed my baby during the session?

Absolutely. In fact, working with babies while they're feeding can be particularly effective. Bring whatever you need to keep your baby comfortable.

What if my baby cries during treatment?

If your baby becomes unsettled, we'll take a break. Your baby's comfort is the priority. Some babies do release tension through crying, which is a normal response, but we'll always respect what your baby needs.

How many sessions will we need?

This varies. Some babies show improvement after just one session, particularly with issues like feeding difficulties. Others benefit from 2-4 sessions. Babies with more complex birth experiences may need a few more. We'll discuss your baby's individual needs.

Can craniosacral therapy help with tongue tie?

Yes, I work with babies both before and after tongue tie release. Treatment can help release compensatory tension in the jaw, neck, and head, supporting better feeding.
